These terms are an agreement between you and SavItUp LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. By signing in to the SavItUp app or the savitup.com member area, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What SavItUp is — and isn't
SavItUp is a consent-based information-sharing service. Your household and policy details live on your phone. When you decide to, you send a defined set of them — the exact fields shown to you first — to a business you pick, and nothing reaches anyone until you make that choice. Members also compare rate changes with each other in the community feed. Insurance is the first area we serve, so most businesses on the platform today are carriers and agencies, but what we operate is the sharing itself, not the insurance.
SavItUp is not an insurance company, agent, broker, or licensed insurance producer. We do not sell, place, bind, or negotiate insurance, we do not recommend one carrier over another, and we do not give insurance, financial, or legal advice. Community numbers are member-reported experiences, not offers or guarantees of any rate. Any policy you buy is a contract between you and that insurer alone.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and a U.S. resident. Keep your PIN secure — SavItUp cannot reset it or open your exports. One account per person.
3. Community content
Share only your own, truthful rate information. No personal data of others, no harassment, no spam, no scraping. Verification badges reflect our review of submitted documentation but are not a guarantee of accuracy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Community posts, comments, and votes are anonymous by design: they carry no name, contact detail, or other information that identifies you. Because they are already anonymous, they are not deleted when you delete your account — they stay in the community feed until they expire on their own schedule.
4. Sharing your information
When you submit a request you authorize us to pass the information shown on the consent screen to the business you selected. Those details are locked to that business on your phone before they leave it, so we pass them on without being able to read them. We send the fields on that screen and nothing else. A request carries no phone number, and you are not consenting to be called — you reach a business by phone only by calling it yourself from the app. You can decline anything that comes back; sending a request creates no obligation to buy.
Businesses pay us a flat fee, agreed in advance, when you send them a request. You pay nothing. That fee is the same whether or not you go on to buy anything, and the businesses you can send a request to are ones that have an agreement with us, shown in alphabetical order. No one can pay to rank higher, and no one is recommended to you, because we make no recommendations. Local agencies listed with Call and Website buttons have no agreement with us and pay us nothing.
5. Web sign-in
Pairing a browser at savitup.com signs that browser in as you until the session expires. Only approve sign-in requests you started yourself.
5a. Moving phones
Only enter transfer codes from a phone you control.
6. Intellectual property
The app, site, and brand are ours; the content you post remains yours, with a license to us to display it within the service (including in aggregate statistics). Carrier and bank names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners, shown for identification only; SavItUp is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that quotes will be available, that partners will contact you, or that any rate shown by the community is available to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SavItUp LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts of insurers or partners you choose to engage with.
9. Termination
You can stop using the service any time. Settings lets you delete your account: your identity, profile, insurance details, devices, and share requests are removed from our servers and from the phone. Anonymous community content stays, as described in section 3. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.
10. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by Colorado law. We may update them; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and announced in the app. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
